Bare with me.
Just thought I'd let you all know, so that you don't think I've lost my tast for proportions. I've been reading the blog "My Sweet Peas" (http://mysweetpeas.xanga.com/) by Cheryl (Not sure how to spell her last name, still work'en on it), and i noticed how when she posts pictures, she has so much room so they can be quite large, thus allowing great detail. So I'm working with the HTML code to make it mine wider so that I can post larger pictures. So now I need to figure out just what size, and then I'll have to re-photoshop my header and make it larger.

Camp Dwight!!! Day Two. Part 1
P.S. (Pre-script), Unfortunately, I'm not in any of the pictures because I was always behind the lens. Maybe that's why so many great photographers died more or less, un known....E.P.S. (End Pre-script)
As you recall, we spent the night under the stars out in the parking field. I slept pretty good, maybe a little to good. I OVER slept, which was about the last thing I wanted to do at Camp Dwight. I got up and Judah, Jesse, and ben had already left! Steven was still there packing his sleeping bag. I looked at my phone, (which somehow had been put on silent) and it's clock said it was 7:00am!!! I stared at it for a full ten seconds, the whole time thinking to myself "It's all in your head, it's all in ya head." But allas, it wasn't just in my head, it was also true. So I got up with the intent of redeeming the two hours I had lost by having LOTS of fun in the next two. For the most part I think I was successful, partially because in those first two hours of the brisk morning I: ate a HUGE Plate of food, talked with quite a few different people, and played some volley ball (which I'm not to good at but enjoy none the less).
That mornings meeting, like the one the previous evening, was really good. One of the things that Jerry said that has really stuck was that he likened himself to a sign post; he directs people toward they're goal, which is Christ, and, like a sign you see driving down the highway, you often don't get there and think about the signs on the way (though, he's a sigh I'll probably think of anyway.). He also told us how he "won his wife to be's hart through his piano playing", but that's a long story.
I also took a lot of pictures of people playing volley ball. "Why?" you ask? Because it's fun! And it's interesting to go through photos of people who are focused on something and aren't thinking about what facial expressions they might be making. And, as david has shown us, sometimes it they look pretty cool. (Like Wade). One thing I really want to do is get a High speed camera and film a water balloon popping.

Josh (Orange shirt) is thinking "Maybe, just maybe". |
After the meeting I played more volleyball, ate MORE food, and talked to MORE people. I also went swimming in the pond and canal, which I throughly enjoyed.
The Pond has a silty bottom wich feels funny squishing through one's toes. |
Zipp'en along. |
How many kids can fit on one paddle boat? Apparently, quite a few. |
In the following photos, David did a 360 off the dock. The third picture came out really cool, it looks like he's walking on water!
SPLOOSH!! |

They're sunk, Wade, is on the job. |
Close, Sooo close. |

Busy busy busy busy Etc...
Sorry about the long brake everybody, I didn't intend to away for so long. A few days after Camp Dwight, the whole family (Including me) flew to the other side of the country for a shooting competition that David (Studly little bro) and I were in. We were a week at that and then we drove to visit my other brother in Michigan for another week. then we flew back home. A week at home full of catching up on all of the chores outside and in, and then the Mixons arrived. BUSY!!!! But a good kind of busy. So I'll be trying to blog at least one post a day for a few days to get caught up.
Stay tuned!
